Mike Snider: Happy Talk Int'l

Mike Snider, was farm raised outside a small, quiet, Tennessee town. At 22, he won the National Banjo Championship and was invited to appearance on the Grand Ole Opry. Then followed an invitation to guest on Ralph Emery’s Nashville Now. When Ralph interviewed Snider, the audience burst into laughter. Snider's phone hasn’t stopped ringing since with national invitations. His southern drawl, country wit and musical skill landed Mike membership into the Grand Ole Opry on June 2, 1990.

Mike Snider was a Hee Haw cast member for 7 years and has appeared on TNN's Nashville Now and Music City Tonight over 150 times, in addition to over 1000 appearances on the Grand Ole Opry.

In 1991 he starred in The Mike Snider Show at Opryland show park and was so well received that he was asked back to play the full season each year through the park's closing in 1998. The Mike Snider Show at Opryland USA was one of the park's most popular shows. With Bob Clark, Blake Williams, and Charlie Cushman, Snider kept audiences howling with laughter.

Between regular appearances at The Grand Ole Opry, television specials and personal appearances for
Happy Talk Int'l, Mike Snider ends up the year performing over 650 shows. When he is not performing, you can catch him on his farm with his beautiful wife, Sabrina (better known as "Sweetie"), and his children, Katie Lynn and Blake.
