Guerry Jameson: Happy Talk Int'l
Storyteller, Singer and Songwriter

Guerry Jameson loves to tell stories . . . original stories accompanied by songs. . . family and community stories . . . from the wealth of classical works to the folk traditions. Guerry presents stories to all ages.

Guerry is a storyteller with a purpose - an entertainer with a message to be enjoyed. One of her characters "Recycling Rubie" even crusades against trash.

Appearances include dates on television and radio, in bookstores, workshops, clubs, at banquets, convention programs, schools and colleges throughout the Southeast. Credits include listing on the TN Performing Arts Commission Touring Program, Rugby Pilgrimage, Nashville Metro Parks Concerts, and with the Nashville Metro Library Bicentennial Program. She has traveled throughout the Southeast with Doc McConnell, Michael Parent, Don Davis, Jackie Torrence, The FolkTellers, Chuck Larkin and David Holt.

Guerry has a BA in Art/Art History from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She has done other course work at Randolph Macon Women's College; University of East TN; TN State University, and Penland School of Crafts. She's appeared at the Southern Association for Preservation and Perpetuation of Storytelling Festival in Mobile, AL, and is active with the National Storytelling Institute.

Guerry will spin yarns about your part of the world and tie the tales together with entertaining songs, taking you back to a nostalgic time when people "spoke their lives" through words and music.
