Three on a String: Happy Talk Int'l
Three On A String
More than just great music

Meeting planners say that Jerry, Bobby & Brad do more with three instruments than most folks do with a dozen. They do all kinds of music - old standards, country, classical, bluegrass & folk. Their 3-part harmony has a unique & pleasing blend, from a heartrending country song to an unexpected acappella rendition. They do all of the above as a self-contained Trio or as guest Trio with symphony orchestras.

Individually, Jerry is the emcee, guitar & harmonica player. He keeps the show rolling, delivering timely one-liner quips & stories with a twinkle in his eyes. Bobby demonstrates his expertise on guitar, banjo, dobro, & trumpet. Brad, the bass player, literally grew up with the group. As a child, he watched Bobby & his DAD weave their way in the entertainment business. Now he's the 3rd string in the family style business.

The guys have played concerts with such famous stars as Barbara Mandrell, The Statler Brothers, The Oak Ridge Boys, Mason Williams, the Longmont Symphony & the Alabama Symphony Orchestra. Jerry, Bobby & Brad have good times right along with their audiences. According to them: "The show's the thing. We feel like we should make people feel good. If music does it...fine, if it's the comedy...fine, if it's a combination...fine, whatever it takes to make your get-together lots of fun."

Three on a String was fantastic at Volunteer Electric Cooperative's Annual Meeting. Overwhelming success. Our audience loved them. Comments after the show: "Best entertainment we've ever had." Talented musicians. Funny. Good clean fun. How can we top this next year?

I have a bruised finger (from applauding so much), a sore stomach (I thought I laughed a lot but from my soreness today I obviously don't) and a sore throat (from all the yelling). There just is not a single word to describe how great, fabulous, hilarious.....well, like I said, there isn't just one word to describe how wonderful they were. Actually, we decided they are just three kids having a ball in adult clothing! We will definitely invite these guys back.
